These days, velvet is all over the place. It’s on our coats, pants, tops and dresses. And it’s on our feet in the form of velvet mules. Mules are shoes with no back and usually a low heel and no laces or straps. They are not a new trend, but today we see a huge comeback, especially velvet ones. They have been a part of fashion for decades. Velvet mules however are not like their velvet shoe counterparts. Velvet shoes usually go with skirts or dresses. For starters, you don’t wear them with skirts. You can wear them with pants and some women even pair them with shorts.
